The Story

The idea for this backyard landscape was to create the feel of an Italian piazza. By illuminating the house and other structures, Bob simulated the feeling of buildings that would usually surround a piazza. Defuse lighting that casts down onto the pool deck gives the sensation of being in a public square on a clear night. Similarly, the view looking down from the upper patio creates the illusion of being on a café patio.
